(Im)Perfect Panna Cotta

If you saw my tweets, you’d know that I was making this: Perfect Panna Cotta from David Lebovitz. The process was very simple (I made half the recipe and substituted one cup of cream with milk because I didn’t have enough cream) but I think I messed up in mixing in the gelatin. As you can see from the picture, the cream split from the gelatin layer and so it didn’t work out properly. BUT it tasted great. That’s a huge amount of progress as compared to my mom’s previous attempts of making panna cotta. If you decide to try it, just make sure you take a thorough time mixing the gelatin.
