Stuff I’d like to share

I thought that was a great video that we watched in our Health Enhancement Program class yesterday (what that had to do with Health Enhancement beats me but what the heck). Image-maker Alexander Tsiaras shares a powerful medical visualization, showing human development from conception to birth and beyond.

Here’s something I got in my email today:

Life is like a bus

You are the driver of this bus from the moment you’re born until the trip ends, you guides it for simple or complex paths with many bends in there. Sometimes the road has many directions to follow so you have to decide which one you want to take. Sometimes you can run into cloudy days where you can’t see clearly, gray days or maybe days with plenty of sunshine, where everything shine around you. Sometimes you take passengers that get off at different stops and never come back or return in other stops, and there are also people who get on the bus and stay in there until the end. But the most important of this bus is that it’s yours, you’re in charge, you decide where do you want to go and where do you want to stop for a while, who can get in and who can’t and at the end you’re the one who decides what to do in all this trip.
