Just an update for those who cared enough last week.

My cousin is out of the hospital and flying back with his parents to Sabah. They (finally) decided to take him out of the military school he was in and look after him back home. I think that was the right choice because him almost dying last week was not the first time the school had been negligent. Remember the case last year where a kid died because of ragging? That’s the same school. My cousin was really sick with his lung infection before the March hols and they didn’t inform his parents. Last year he had a really bad fever and they didn’t inform his parents till the last minute.

He made a rapid recovery. Thank goodness he’s young. But there is irreversible damage to his lungs and his kidneys are still on the mend. Hopefully he’ll recuperate well at home.

Thanks for the prayers and support my dear friends. I really do appreciate it.

  1. good to know his parents came to their senses. he’s not still on dialysis though, right? and btw, i still think they should sue.

    1. I doubt they would sue. They didn’t even want to take him out of the school until my mom insisted they think it through many many many times. She even went to the extent as to say “if you leave him here.. just make sure that when you are boarding the plane back to Tawau you don’t feel the least bit guilty.” Thankfully that worked.
