wild target

I watched this movie today, online of course since its not out here. Its hilarious. What I love about British humour is that is always good. America tries to copy a lot of it but its not exactly the same: The Office, Worst Week (the British one makes you want to die. hah.)

Anyway, the story behind this movie (courtesy of IMDB):

Victor Maynard is a middle-aged, solitary assassin, who lives to please his formidable mother, despite his own peerless reputation for lethal efficiency. His professional routine is interrupted when he finds himself drawn to one of his intended victims, Rose. He spares her life, unexpectedly acquiring in the process a young apprentice, Tony. Believing Victor to be a private detective, his two new companions tag along, while he attempts to thwart the murderous attentions of his unhappy client.

Its highly amusing. Rupert Grint outside of Ron Weasley is a good actor. Random fact: Bill Nighy and Martin Freeman (both in this movie) also acted in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (another wonderful movie/book). I think you’d enjoy this movie, if you ever got to watch it. Or perhaps you won’t. To each their own after all.
